Summer is almost over and I have some spare time. If there's anything I can do to help let me know and I'll do my best.

You guys should get what is done, and make an DDay2+ beta install pack.

With Quake2 DDay stand alone, EGL and all the work you guys have.

Point? Easy ready to use DDay2. Cos i never got all the files and things to work allright = \.

And btw, Gj guys <3 it look amazing!!! ^_^

I disagree nothing should be released until we have a set of maps and models ready.

I think for mapping we need more textures and shaders. Also making prefabs would be great aswell.
I am currently on remapping "dday2" for.. rabies dday. Its going to take me awhile as I want it to feel like you are actually in a town.. So slow and high detail will be my mapping ideology.

Yeah. This is where many of you can contribute. I want 99% of the textures to be made by us. A couple reasons why...we have the abilty to make professional grade textures and most other textuires are copywrited and frankly the stuff from other games like RTCW, MOHAA...are not good enough. :)
I have a huge, growing collection of raw images I have been taking on trips and at work. I can make these available. Anyone with a digital camera and/or photoshop can help with this. European players have the best environment for good photo ops.
Prefabs and static models are needed. Infy...make some non animated models. :)

Both/ :)

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NVOJP7GG dev kit. I'll post a patch this weekend with all the newer additions.

Attached is a .zip of that map i posted above. It uses mostly stuff from the dev pack. So, this is just the quark files. It will give you an idea of how things work, though.

No, It will be an island where the Japanese start more inland, The Marines start on the beach, and for the PT boat maybe a class or a random spawn will be on the boat.
For another map, The Marines have to hold a canoe for a few minutes.

The canoe was used by natives to rescue the crew. It was on the military channel. It will be on again later tonight.

Rabid - ever think of using another name instead of D-Day "2" Since the game we have now has far evolved from just dday normandy..Unless that will be the focus of this?

idk wtf you are talking about but it will still look and feel like dday. I think adding a 2 is already a stretch, most sequals are far more distinguishable.
