Well as you all surely know, June 6th is coming up soon... I expect you all to pop a bag of popcorn and watch the History channel. :D

I'll probably walk around town dressed in my 1940 French Army motorized infantry uniform again.

I can't decide if the funny stares the last three times were more humorous or more humiliating. It was great fun keeping a straight face while wearing that into one of my (university) lectures with 150 people though. Professor kept staring before finally making me tell him, halfway through the lecture, what it was I was wearing.

Then again, the only French troops at D-Day were 177 commandos on Sword Beach who wore British uniforms, and French SAS paradropped on June 5th into Brittany. So my uniform wouldn't really make sense anyway, unless applied to the FFI.

I'll probably just kick back and play D-Day or Forgotten Hope or some other WW2 game I play.

that a pic of the cemetary in normandy? cause i feel bad for the soldiers that died there.....thats the most homosexual statue for a cemetary of a battle.
