Yep. There are a few thousand of them. I sent Fafner a message. Maybe he knows how to get rid of them en mass. I managed to ban them when I saw what was happening but over a thousand were already up. And I don't want to delete over a thousand messages, so waiting for fafner. Maybe you can reach him.

Well hopefully he makes an appearance and knows a quick way to clean this up.

By the way I have a link for 41 hi rez texture maps in mapping, if you are interested.

Lots of activity though!

Fafner, let me know if you need help admining the webserver and the forums. I check in regularly. I just secured my own servers with an SSL cert from LetsEncrypt, I can do this for ddaydev.com too.

Did you test with:

https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/

I configured my server on linicks.net so I get an A+ rating.

Sorry, fixed it. I just told MYNF how to mass delete posts (had to look it up myself), so it hopefully won't be up for so long next time. And it's easy to do. Also updated to the latest PHPBB.

Yes, I am A+ on all servers. Fafner, my offer to help out with the server-side of things is still open. Browsers will be warning people when a server isn't SSL/TLS secured soon, they already do when they detect a password field.

Trouble is, it will not stop some twat registering on the board and using a bot to post loads of crap.

Also, I am sure Fafner is well capable of doing it anyway.

No, it doesn't stop the spam, but it will stop the browser from complaining and make me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

I'm just proposing it so Fafner doesn't have to spend his time on it. I just did it for 4 servers so it's fresh in memory.

If there is a way to replace the atomic explosion for a couple shell like explosions that would be nice. I remember 10 years ago one of the servers did that so someone figured it out. Up to you though, you are the code demigod.
