Hi all,
Just got the news today that I have terminal lung cancer. I still have a few tests to do, but other than that it's goodbye.
Thanks to all the friends (and enemies!) that I found over the years playing this game, and I wish you and your families all the best for the future.
I will not be posting any more but will drop by now an then.
Nick

Thank you for all your help with getting the source to compile all those years ago and for running your server!

Quite sorry to hear that, Bill. I'll always remember you're very witty remarks. Absolutely always a gentleman in game and the forums. You're an interesting bloke and I have witnessed you help so many people. It's tragic, I hope you can stay comfortable through it all.

Bill you are a pillar of the DDay community and the server obviously had that legendary status to the community that we can all be thankful for. I'm sorry to hear what life has thrown your way but I hope it has been a good ride and hope you have more for whatever else you may want it for. Incurable in many cases can still mean quality years and I am hoping for this for you.
