Dday Keeps Crashing

Post by [Inf]PopLadd » Mon Jul 06, 2015 12:44 pm

Every once in a while when I'm playing Dday, it just randomly crashes on me. Nothing ingame that causes it. I've disabled muzzle flash which majorly improves gameplay. Anybody know what's wrong?
Signatures are used to easily distinguish between many different users in a variety of ways. The signature I have chosen is rather redundant, in that it's merely stating the function of signatures. Quite humorously though, this would still be seen as a very distinguishable signature.

try using opengl. run dday goto video options and change software mode to opengl

or try q2pro client http://skuller.net/q2pro/

Welcome to 1999. We had loads of clients crashes, and running a debug coded server on the then ddayuk server, Fafner squashed a lot of them after me and him analysed the crash code... but clients still crashed.

Nobody got any where near what the problem was, but it has to be something with the graphics engine on the client.

So, 2015, and 1999 all again.

Nick

P.S. Passworded server? If so, some stuff I recorded years ago that crashed a server due to client crash...

Erm, actually, I realized that it's not strictly Dday that's crashing. All my games are crashing without warning or error reports.
