I'm about to install D-Day again. Hope some people are playing... I need a break from Uni revision.

Edit: Ok Full Install link is broken. http://www.filefront.com/15895785/D-Day ... %20v01.exe. I guess D-Day doesn't want me back.

Edit #2: http://www.filefront.com/15941007/D-Day ... v5-01.exe/ works. Fafner, you should fix the link on the side (I don't think I have FTP any more).

Haha
Even the color scheme is awfully nostalgic for me. I remember coming home every day from grade school checking the forums and then jumping on 352nd's server to play DDay2 and Invade1. Good days.

Been playing SC2 Beta and MW2.... but that's all kinda on the side now.

I'm a Sophomore at the University of Arizona, trying to get a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. Dude, I've never had school be so hard before, feels like I'm drowning.

I'll see if I can't download the game and jump on again- it would be fun I think.
Nice to see you alive !nfy.

Well your mom and dad were born, did a bunch of things, met one day, liked each other, fell in love, then bought you at the store.

COD WW2 sucks. I miss this game. It's been what, 15 years? I still run around dday2 now and then.

The bots are good. I generated about 40 hi resolution texture maps you can use at home. Not a lot on the servers but fun at home.

People still play a little - I've been playing again for a few months now - sometimes you can get 3 or 4 people on a server. Seems like there's 7 or 8 people that play on the regular.

Good to know. Which one do you play on, and what time (western standard time in the USA)?

People are often playing on the Dev server, 5-9pm EST. Weekends seem to draw the most but I find people on there on weekdays too. Started playing around 6 tonight and there were 7 people on but that's rare, and it was only for one map. You can usually get 2-3 people playing at a time though - with the bots it's pretty good. Sometimes I'll just play by myself for a bit vs. the bots and someone will join in. Honestly I just bookmarked https://www.quakeservers.net/quake2/servers/t=dday/ and check it every so often when I'm bored. Seems to be an effective way of grabbing a few games.
