I think you will need to get the source and recompile to use the latest libs on the new system - without being at your computer, that is a guess. If there is any problems when building, GCC will squinny.

Oh yes. Plus I get to play with Hexagon's PC-DMIS software on a Romer Arm (with a laser scanner) and a £250,000 CMM machine and M3 software on a Vision Hawk Duo. Amazing how all those years ago using Quark and Quake2 mapping tools and coding (plus blender) comes in real handy 18 years later. PC-DMIS...
